Lavender aroma, electric acidity, creamy, bold and balanced, with flavors of peach and masala. Wonderfully winey on the cool down.
This Kenya is an absolute beauty and well worth the year long hiatus during 2011 when we were unable to find a Kenya that met with our approval. This coffee is produced by the Ruiru Mills Estate, a 110 hectare farm with its own milling facility located about twenty-five miles north of Nairobi. This area is very fertile, high altitude farmland that is fed by the glacial waters of Mount Kenya, 17,057 feet.
