Finca La Esperanza  is located on the eastern slope of the Western Cordillera along the Pacific Ocean in the Colombian Andes. La Esperanza is owned by brothers Rigoberto and Luis Eduardo Herrera. Their approach to agriculture is as innovative as it is respectful of ecological and social stewardship. All of their coffee at La Esperanza has been produced without the use of pesticides, herbicides or synthetic fertilizers. It is certified at the farm by ECOCERT.

The Herrera’s also grow coffee in Panama and have begun to introduce Panamanian cultivars onto their farms in Colombia. One of these varietal introductions includes the Geisha cultivar. We are eager to see where this project will lead. Stay tuned.

Finca La Esperanza is also certified by the Rainforest Alliance.
